ABOUT THE KSWA

Founded in February of the year 2000, the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance is a local independent wresting promotion based in the Lawrenceville area of the city of Pittsburgh.

Our core fan base spans many local communities such as Lawrenceville, Bloomfield, Morning Side, Stanton Heights, Millvale, Etna and parts of the North Side of Pittsburgh.

The KSWA prides itself on providing an affordable and fun-filled family-oriented event to all those in attendance. A mixture of children, teenagers and adults of all ages make up our fan base.

We have participated in many fund-raising events for local youth sports organizations, The United Way, Cystic Fibrosis, The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and most recently for the Allegheny County Holiday Project where the KSWA and our fans – KSWA Krazies as we like to call them - raised over 350 gifts for under privileged children in the area.

In fact many of the KSWA wrestlers and staff were either born, raised or now live in the communities we have events in.

Due to tireless promotion by the KSWA and recent cover stories in the Pittsburgh City Paper and The Front Weekly attendance for KSWA events has gone from the low 100’s to mid to high 200’s in the matter of a little over a year.

FUND RAISING

Professional wrestling’s popularity is at an all time high and has become a multi-billion dollar industry. Each year approximately half a billion people worldwide watch professional wrestling live in person or on television. Why not cash in on professional wrestling's popularity locally to raise money for your group or organization? With the assistance of the KSWA, you will not only raise money for your group or organization, but also have a good time while doing it!

The KSWA is ready, able and willing to help you raise the necessary funds needed to benefit your group or organization. We can and have assisted many different types of groups and organizations such as various schools, sporting teams, clubs, little leagues, soccer teams, churches, fire departments and other non-profit organizations throughout the city of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

Using the KSWA to help raise funds has many advantages. First, there is no need to go door-to-door selling of hoagies, candy bars, etc. For example, the sale of a few KSWA wrestling tickets generates the same amount of money as selling an entire box of candy bars. Secondly, for benefit shows, the KSWA does not charge an appearance fee to provide great wrestling action.

Finally, you determine how much money you need to earn and the KSWA will work diligently in helping you reach that goal. Your fund-raiser can be held in your own building or we can help you locate a building.

Fund Raising and the KSWA equal success for your group or organization.

WRESTLING PACKAGES

The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance provides a fun and profitable alternative to the normal fund raising activities.

A negotiated percentage of all ticket sales would go to your group or organization.

Additional funds can be raised for your group by having a 50/50 raffle, bar if permitted and a concession stand.

For your fund-raising event the KSWA will provide the following:

Talent (Wrestlers and Staff)

Wrestling Ring

Doctor (In accordance with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission guidelines)

Promoters License (In accordance with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission guidelines)

Sound System (DJ for ring entrance music and ring announcer)

Advertising (Flyers and on official site of the KSWA www.kswa.net)

Tickets for Event

Promotional Support (Appearances, Autograph Sessions etc.)

Your organization or group would need to provide the following:

Facility for the Event (Gymnasium or Hall that could accommodate a wrestling event)

Security if needed

Distribution of Flyers, Tickets and Promotional Material

Most importantly, sell tickets for the event!!!

The KSWA will work diligently with your group to host a great fund raising event.
