KSWA Krazy Tour Returns To Arsenal Park, Napier Hopes To Dethrone Martin

Former KSWA Heavyweight Champion Mitch Napier (who was sneak-attacked by Lou Martin at FanFest) hopes to regain the promotion’s top trophy at one of the biggest events of the year. The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance’s “Super Summer Sizzler Tour '12” will be part of the Lawrenceville Fireworks Celebration at Arsenal Park. This stellar, 4:00 p.m. event is free for all in attendance.

Napier is set to challenge Martin, who successfully dodged the Iowa grappler at the vaunted Huncheck Fairgrounds just a few weeks ago. Martin has also faced off against the 7-foot tall, 365 lb. Jack Massacre and 150-lb Kris Kash in recent months. Martin, a founding member of the VIP’s, is riding high in this, his second KSWA title reign. Napier on the other hand, has participated in tag matches, and nearly won the Golden Triangle Championship in a Triple Threat Match. He also recently defeated Bobby Badfingers. The Krazies in attendance at this free show will see two Megastars at the top of their game.

In another match that promises to have fans’ eyes glued to the ring is the 5-Star Championship match between current champion Jonny Axx and former Golden Triangle Champion Jay Flash. Axx has elevated the former Jr. Heavyweight Championship in the months since he won the belt from Shane Starr. Meanwhile, Jay Flash is looking to redeem himself after losing the Golden Triangle Championship. The South Beach Soldier is looking to rally the troops at Arsenal Park and Axx is looking forward to stomping the excitement out of Flash’s soul. Since winning the re-branded belt, Axx has dominated matches and has added a new level of intensity to the ranks of the KSWA. Might Flash be the guy to bury Axx?

The KSWA World Tag Team Champions—Party Gras—will compete in a six-man competition. It’s been a year since Lord Zoltan and Justin Sane have won the belts (the underdogs then beat the VIPs at the Arsenal Park celebration). This year, Party Gras teams with Super Ginger and will face The Jester and the newly re-formed Mercenaries (“Nasty” Nick Crane and Sniper). Crane and Sniper have been unable to rest the KSWA Tag Belts off of Party Gras, and this six-man match may end up just being a glorified scouting exercise, but the Krazies will be strongly behind Party Gras and Super Ginger.

In a true, historic battle of the big men, Ali Kaida will face off one-on-one with Jack Massacre. Kaida, a former KSWA World Champion, intimidates most Megastars and overpowers many of them. This match will be different because Massacre dwarfs the Afghani Assault Weapon. In addition, Kaida might not be able to use his signature over-the-top T-bone suplex on the 7-footer. That cuts down some of Kaida’s offense. Massacre still holds a grudge, and deservedly so, for the Legion of the Apocalypse breaking his wrist. One thing is for certain: there won’t be many grapping maneuvers in this match. It will be two KSWA super heavyweights battling it out.

Former 5-time KSWA Champion “The Enforcer” Shawn Blanchard is scheduled to face an old friend in “The King” Del Douglas. This must be one of Kommissioner Joe Perri’s “opportunity” matches as Blanchard and Douglas have worked together extensively in the past. This could be an intriguing match to see in what direction each of these Megastars is traveling. Blanchard has battled along quite successfully, while Douglas has had his own set of concerns. Blanchard is a tough customer, no matter the situation or opponent. Douglas always turns it up to high gear when he’s out in front of his constituents in free and open air venues.

The surging “Rock and Roll” Dave Diamond is set to face the Legion of the Apocalypse’s premier brawler in Bobby Badfingers. Diamond Dave has had a great measure of success with the Legion and he is excited about being able play his own form of offense. Bobby Badfingers can never be underestimated. The former Golden Triangle Champion can turn any contest around with a right fist called a “hamhock.” Diamond has gone toe-to-toe with Ali Kaida with the highest of energy. There’s no reason to believe he can’t do the same with the Master of the Debt Collector finishing maneuver.

Ric Rumsky, who recently beat The Jester for his shot at the KSWA World Title, has challenged the champion, whoever that may be, on July 14 at the Home of Professional Wrestling in Pittsburgh, the KSWA Arena. He will be in action on Saturday against J-Ru, who officially returns to the KSWA after traveling a while. Rumsky is looking to land that Rum Shaker superkick on the chin of the veteran grappler J-Ru. This would be a great opportunity for J-Ru to impress KSWA Owner Bobby O, Kommissioner Joe Perri and the Championship Committee.

The KSWA “Super Summer Sizzler Tour '12” at Lawrenceville Fireworks Celebration is a free event at Arsenal Park, along 40th Street in the Lawrenceville neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh. Bell time is 4:00 p.m. Card is subject to change.
