The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance returns to the road this Saturday, July 28 and find their way to Larry Mills Park along O’Block Road in Plum Borough for Community Days! The bell time for this FREE and special event is 3:00 p.m.
The KSWA World Champion, “Dr. Devastation” Lou Martin has been successfully defending his title and he hopes to again in Plum against frequent foe Kris Kash. Martin, along with “The Enforcer” Shawn Blanchard has done everything in their power to make sure that the KSWA’s premier title remains in their VIP fold. Kris Kash, who has come very close to supplanting the title in the past, is gearing up for this most recent opportunity before an enthusiastic outdoor audience. Kash has really cemented himself as a veteran, despite his youthful age and appearance. He has battled Martin up and down throughout his recent career. Might this be the time for Kash to shine?
The KSWA Tag Team Championship is on the line as Party Gras—Justin Sane and Lord Zoltan—prepare for a 13-month run as titleholders. It was July of last year during the Independence Day Celebration at Arsenal Park that Party Gras was born and the championship earned. Since then the dancing duo have defended against all comers. Now the “Instigator” J-Ru brings TJ Phillips into the fold. J-Ru garnered a lot of attention from the KSWA Krazies recently at the KSWA Arena, and his new-found hostile confidence has made him almost guarantee victory over the Gras. The KSWA universe knows almost nothing about Phillips, so it’s difficult to predict what he may bring to the challenge. Meanwhile, both members of Party Gras have been battered by the Mercenaries. Might their devious attacks leave Party Gras vulnerable to Ru and Phillips?
The Golden Triangle Championship is on the line as Champion The Blood Beast defends his strap against the Middle American Patriot Mitch Napier. Blood Beast has long been considered one of the strongest—if not the most powerful—member of the KSWA locker room, but insiders assert that Mitch may also be in that category. Will the Legion of the Apocalypse’s Beast run roughshod all over Napier or will the “The Best Around” leave Plum with the prestigious Golden Triangle Championship? Bloomfield bookies have been excited about this matchup all week and betting lines are changing almost daily.
In another matchup of accomplished Megastars—“The Enforcer” Shawn Blanchard takes on Shane Starr in Single’s competition. Blanchard continues to manifest everything VIP, while Starr has recently had his eyes on the 5-Star Championship. Championship committee matchmakers believe this match could define who would be the Number One contender for the 5-Star Championship, a belt that has received a lot of attention since Jonny Axx had the former Jr. Heavyweight Championship re-branded for him and the Legion of the Apocalypse. Like the Kash and Martin Main Event, this match features two competitors who know virtually everything there is about each other.
“The Drunken Luchadore” Joey Quervo appears to be winding down his interesting and unique career, but he still has time to leave the bar when Del Douglas is looking for competition. These two Megastars have met many times and make no qualms about the fact they don’t like one another. Quervo thinks Douglas is a pure-bred wannabe, while Douglas looks down his royal nose at a common, Mexican bar fly. The King is still going strong in the KSWA and he feels a strong victory hear might put him and the Jester back into contention for the Tag Team belts. This could be his first step in that direction.
The “Defender of Red-Headed Stepchildren Everywhere,” Super Ginger returns to the KSWA in an attempt to humble the anchor of the Legion of the Apocalypse, Ali Kaida. With Mayor Mystery fired from the KSWA by Owner Bobby O, the former World Champion Ali Kaida has become the de facto leader of the quartet and he’s still fuming over never being pinned for the KSWA’s number one title. Will Super Ginger be able to pull an upset over the maniacal Afghani Assault Weapon?
These questions will be answers, and perhaps a few more posed at Plum Community Days, this Saturday, July 28 at 3:00 p.m. The event will be held at Larry Mills Park on O’Block Road. Bell time is 3:00 p.m. and the card is subject to change. This event is FREE to all ages and fans. See you Saturday!
