It will soon be nine consecutive years for the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) as it returns to Millvale for the borough’s annual celebration, and the in-ring action is bigger and better than ever.

“The King of Millvale” Del Douglas returns home for his annual, official visit. As is forever the case, Douglas is urging residents and celebrants alike to line Millvale streets with gifts and trinkets for “their hero.” On Friday, Douglas will take part in an innovative “Six Pack Challenge” match along with “Ice Man” Tony Johnson, “The Drunken Luchadore” Joey Quervo, Super Ginger, his former ward The Jester and a returning Mitch Napier.

“Mr. Puniverse” Bob Atlas will take on “Dr. Devastation” Lou Martin in one-on-one competition. Martin, who lost a “Loser Wears A Chicken Suit” match to Lord Zoltan earlier this year, has to wear the fowl costume for the remainder of 2014. He is not happy about that. It was nearly a year ago when he lost the first “Chicken Suit” match against Zoltan on the same Millvale main thoroughfare. Martin will now face Atlas.

Justin Sane will take on the always-ominous Blood Beast. The Beast has not had a very successful 2014 campaign and he expects to reverse those fortunes by taking out one-half of Party Gras. That being noted, Justin Sane is always a tough competitor and he expects to continue on his winning ways.

The KSWA World Heavyweight Champion, Shane Starr, will team up with his long-time friend Kris Kash to take on “The Enforcer” Shawn Blanchard and J-Ru. They will be accompanied to the ring by Verified Investment Partner/Owner Tommy Faime. This is a match that has generated some interest by the featured parties on Social Media. This promises to be an intense match.

The KSWA’s Golden Triangle Championship is on the line as The Bulldozer will defend against Kaida. This hard-hitting match features two of the most powerful champions to have ever donned athletic gear in the squared circle. The 367 lb. Bulldozer won “Pittsburgh’s” title on June 28 at the Teamster Temple in Lawrenceville and he plans on defending it with pride and athleticism. Kaida held the Golden Triangle championship for a short time in 2009 and wouldn’t mind having it back. In addition, the “Wall Street Cover Boys,” “Big and Bigger,” et al, Jack Massacre and “Big” Mike Malachi will defend the KSWA Tag Team Championships against “Nasty” Nick Crane and Sniper, aka The Mercenaries. At 660 lbs., Massacre and Malachi are among the biggest tag teams ever in Pittsburgh. They don’t plan on relinquishing the tag belts at any time. Meanwhile, the Mercenaries continue their march toward those very straps.

Millvale Days is Friday, September 12th at 6:30, and Saturday, September 13th at 3:00 p.m. along Grant Street. The event is free to the public. More matches for Saturday will be previewed later.
