The owner of the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA), Bobby O strode onto the stage in front of more than 200 students at Saint Raphael’s School after being introduced by Principal Robert Munz. In front of Bobby O were all five KSWA trophies: the 5-Star, the Golden Triangle, the Tag Team and the most important Single’s Title in the Commonwealth—the KSWA World Title.

This past Friday, K-8 students were excited to hear about the upcoming fundraiser for the school on September 27, and then they all got to their feet when 5-time former KSWA Champion “The Enforcer” Shawn Blanchard came on stage.

After a presentation, students were able to have their picture taken with the wrestlers, as well as the championship belts. “We love to give back to the community that has given us so much,” said Bobby O.

The stop at Saint Raphael’s came on the heels of two highly-successful events as part of Millvale Days, and another fundraiser for Special Olympics. It’s all a part of the KSWA’s continued investment in the Pittsburgh area that keeps the organization second-to-none in the industry. The KSWA, Pittsburgh’s professional wrestling organization, was represented at the school by Bobby O, Blanchard, “Dr. Devastation” Lou Martin, Justin Sane and Kris Kash. Two days earlier, Blanchard, Martin and KSWA World Heavyweight Champion “The Future” Shane Starr were in attendance at a Special Olympics fundraiser sponsored by the Allegheny County Port Authority Police.

The KSWA was invited to the Special Olympics fundraiser by organizers Kelly Kumanchik and Port Authority Police Officer Dave Albert. The event, held at Rock Bottom in Homestead, featured a Chinese Auction and a 50/50 raffle. The Megastars met with, among others, Special Olympians Mike Maker and Jessica Clayton.

“We look for to working with Port Authority and Special Olympics for a fundraiser in the future,” added Bobby O.

The fundraiser for Saint Raphael’s School, 1154 Chislett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 is Saturday, September 27. All tickets are $10. KSWA World Heavyweight Champion Shane Starr defends against former champion Lou Martin. In an “Owner v. Owner” tag team match, Bobby O and Kris Kash will face Tommy Faime and Shawn Blanchard.
