Tag Team Championship On The Line, World Title Is 2-Out-Of-3 Falls as KSWA Returns To St. Ray’s For Fundraiser

With Memorial Day festivities written into history, the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) turns its sites on the Krazy Tour 2015 with this Saturday’s stop at the gymnasium of St. Raphael’s Parish in the Morningside neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh.
May 16 wasn’t that long ago for the Megastars who battled each other in one of the most unique stops ever on the KSWA Karavan. That was the night Jack Massacre and Bobby Badfingers continued their feud with one of the wildest, most brutal Street Fights in KSWA history. Even though Massacre was victorious, J-Ru and Badfingers couldn’t help but ambush the 7-foot skyscraper moments after the match. Massacre’s partner, “Big” Mike Malachi wasn’t in Tidioute for the card.
The KSWA Championship Committee was quick to give “Deeds” their due. J-Ru and Bobby Badfingers will get another chance at the most prestigious tag team championship in the Keystone State. The 660-lb. “Wall Street Cover Boys” will take on “Deeds” in what promises to be a hard-hitting affair.
The most coveted single’s title in the Commonwealth is on the line Saturday night with new KSWA World Heavyweight Champion Shawn Blanchard defends against Kris Kash. Blanchard defeated Kash at Tidioute on May 16 when KSWA Owner Tommy Faime inserted Kash into the hunt instead of former champion Shane Starr. Even though Blanchard won that bought, he has issued another challenge to Kash. This time the stipulations may benefit the high-flying Kash. The match is a 2-out-of-three falls contest. Last September, Kash and KSWA Owner Bobby O defeated Blanchard and Faime in a match that was later declared a no-contest (after Blanchard successfully campaigned Kommissioner Joe Perri and the Championship Committee, stating that principal Robert Munz was not a KSWA referee. Munz made the pin in that match after the original referee was dispatched.) Blanchard is looking for retribution at St. Ray’s and Kash is looking to finally unseat the KSWA Champion.
“Dr. Devastation” Lou Martin and Shane Starr will face off in one-on-one competition again, after a Tidioute battle between the two. Starr defeated Martin in the impromptu match. With the win, Starr gets another shot at the KSWA Heavyweight Title, no matter who the victor may be—even Kris Kash. However, this time Martin and Starr are battling for something else altogether: pride. If Martin wins, Owner Bobby O will wear the dreaded “chicken suit” at the KSWA Ice Cream Social at St. Ray's on June 3rd. If Starr is victorious, “Dr. Chicken Suit”—err Lou Martin—will wear the feathery-yellow nightmare at the same Ice Cream Social.
Massacre, Bobby O, Shawn Blanchard and Lou Martin were on hand for a rally prior to the St. Ray’s fundraiser. The group met with kids, signed autographs and generally pumped up the show. The kids were energized and remembered the action from the KSWA’s last stop there on September 27.
More matches will be announced leading up to the event. The KSWA Krazy Tour fundraiser at St. Raphael Parish Elementary Catholic School, 1154 Chislett Street, the Morningside neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh, PA 15206 is this Saturday, May 30. Bell time is 7:00 p.m. All tickets are $10 and card is subject to change.
