The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance returns to action on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Home of Professional Wrestling in Pittsburgh, the Lawrenceville Moose. Bell time is scheduled for 7:30pm. Doors will open at approximately 6:45pm.

The semi-finals and finals of the 3rd Annual Joe Abby Memorial Tournament highlight the night where wrestling legend Dominic DeNucci makes his return to the KSWA.

In the ring he was known as "The Red Demon" or "Killer" Joe Abby, a man who knew how to make audiences boo him. Outside the ring Joe Abby was a good man with a big heart. Joe Abby's love for the sport of professional wrestling showed whether he was in or out of the ring. Joe wrestled some of the biggest names in the history of Pittsburgh Studio Wrestling like Larry Zbyszko, Ace Freeman, Chuck Martoni and Johnny DeFazio. Abby was also part of a tag team with fellow KSWA Hall of Famer Frank Durso. Joe Abby went on to have a twenty year career in pro wrestling and the KSWA is pleased to honor Mr. Abby’s accomplishments in and outside the ring.

In the first semi-final match, 2009 winner Dr. Devastation Lou Martin faces Kris Kash. Martin is coming of an impressive victory in February as he defeated six men in a Gauntlet Match. Kris Kash advanced by beating Alex Arcadian in a great back and forth bout against two of the KSWA’s rising Megastars. Martin brings to the ring over ten years of experience and the wild card known as Frank Durso. Kris Kash will have to use his speed and agility to stay one step ahead of Martin and Durso. Kash has proven many times in the past that he is up for any challenge put up against him.

In the second semi-final match, The Latin Assassin squares off against Justin Sane. The Latin Assassin defeated VIP member Anthony Alexander in a very grueling match to advance. Not only did The Latin Assassin advance to the semi-finals of the Joe Abby Memorial Tournament he also won the KSWA Heavyweight Title Match contract that Alexander won in January. Justin Sane won a Fatal Fourway Match that featured some of the biggest Megastars on the KSWA roster. Sane survived the likes of Big Mike Malachi, Bulldozer and Chicago bad boy, Bobby Badfingers, who he pinned for the victory. Latin and Sane have had some classic matches in the ten year history of the KSWA and this match will add to that list.

The winners of the two semi-final matches will face off in the Main Event to crown the 2010 Joe Abby Memorial Tournament winner.

Wrestling legend Dominic DeNucci returns to the KSWA to exact some revenge on Frank Durso, the man who used brass knuckles to defeat him in December. Dominic claimed he is also coming for Shawn Blanchard due to his constant interfering in the December match. In this Six-Man Match, DeNucci is teaming with the KSWA Tag Team Champions, Vinnie Stone and Ric Rumskey. Due to a stipulation put forth by KSWA Owner Bobby O, Durso and Blanchard could not pick one of the other VIP members as their third team member so Durso flipped the tables and selected the devious Lord Zoltan.

Since KSWA Owner Bobby O took away his opportunity to team with Blanchard and Durso, VIP member Anthony Alexander has turned his attention to former VIP member Shane Starr. After Alexander joined the VIP’s in December Starr was soon the odd man out and was dumped from the group in January. Since that time Starr has claimed that he will prove that the VIP’s made the biggest mistake of their lives. Alexander, coming off a defeat at the hands of rival Latin Assassin is said to be seething mad that he not only lost the match but also lost the KSWA Heavyweight Title Match contract. Both men come into the match with a chip on their shoulders and something to prove.

KSWA Golden Triangle Champion the King Del Douglas puts his title on the line vs. the Japanese import, The Great Toyota. Douglas is coming off an impressive victory against Joey Quervo where he controlled the match from start to finish. In addition to the belt being on the line The King has also implemented the King’s Ransom stipulation to entice his opponents even further. Del is so confident that he will come out victorious that he is not concerned one bit that he will lose his title or have to pay up on the ransom he puts forward. Toyota has been on cloud nine since his release from the clutches of Joe Perri and could prove to be a difficult opponent if taken too lightly.

Speaking of Gentleman Joe Perri, he has assembled his group of bruisers and hooligans in an Eight Man Match. Bulldozer, The Bloodbeast, Biker Al & Bobby Badfingers will face the team of Mike Malachi, Alex Arcadian, Mitch Napier and Iceman Tony Johnson. Bulldozer and Mike Malachi have been at odds since Dozers attack on Malachi in January. The masked wrecking ball has claimed that he will destroy Malachi and eliminate him from the KSWA once and for all. The pure brute of Perri’s crew is impressive but Malachi has brought an impressive group with him to the match as well. This match will no doubt be hard hitting. The question is will the ring be able to contain all of these competitors.

Also appearing will be Ali Kaida, who has been eerily quiet since he was defeated by Mike Malachi a few months ago. J Flash, Joey Quervo and the Thunder Bay Bomber Drew Belanger will also be in attendance.

Also the 2010 KSWA Hall of Fame inductions will take place.

All tickets for the event are $5.00. The Lawrenceville Moose is located at 120 51st Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201. For tickets or more information on the event please call 412-726-1762 or log on to www.kswa.net
