September 27, 2011 by Trapper Tom, Ring Announcer/Wrestling Journalist The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) returns to Sharpsburg this Saturday for the second time this year in an effort to help raise funds for the Guyasuta Football and Cheerleading Association, and Kris Kash is hoping to upset the Afghani Assault Weapon. Kash, a former Golden Triangle and Tag Team Champion, has never held the KSWA's big prize, the World Championship. He faces an uphill battle as he challenges an agitated and angry Ali Kaida. Kash has focused his career--as of late--to his tag team with Shane Starr, but he also realizes that the KSWA is about opportunity. Ali Kaida, some say, has been ducking some of the KSWA's premier challengers and teaming with fellow Legion of the Apocalypse members The Blood Beast and Golden Triangle Champion Bobby Badfingers. Badfingers, meanwhile, was not on hand to defend the Golden Triangle Championship during the highly-anticipated, recent Millvale Days. It seems that the Manager of the Legion, Mayor Mystery, has pulled some strings to have Badfingers out of the country during recent dates (that also explains Badfingers' last-minute cancellation at Plum Community Days). Mayor Mystery has tied up the KSWA legal department with late edicts, claiming that since Parts Unknown is not a part of the United States, Badfingers does not have to defend the title every 30 days. KSWA Owner Bobby O's legal department have been baffled by the developments. The Latin Assassin, however, has gone right after Badfingers and challenged him as a man. As a result, Badfingers has defied Mayor Mystery and accepted Latin's provocation. Party Gras, the KSWA Tag Team Champions--Justin Sane and Lord Zoltan--are preparing to defend their titles against the unorthodox, yet venerable team of "Dr. Devastation" Lou Martin and "The King" Del Douglas. Sane and Zoltan are in the midst of a highly-successful run in the KSWA but Martin and Douglas could surprise the Party duo. Martin has had recent battles with Zoltan, while Douglas recently won the Jr. Heavyweight Championship for one night. Like Kash, Martin and Douglas are taking the opportunity presented to them. It's also believed that the VIPs--Martin and "The Enforcer" Shawn Blanchard might induct Douglas an honorary member of their clique if they win. With that, Blanchard could insert himself into future defenses. Zoltan and Sane don't seem to care. They are just on top of the world with their championship run. It's a battle of the giants when The Blood Beast--6'5", 278 lbs, takes on the 7-foot, 385 lb. Jack Massacre. For unexplained reasons, Blood Beast and Ali Kaida attacked Massacre in his Friday match, then wrestled him and others Saturday during Millvale Days. It would have seemed more apt for the Legion of the Apocalypse to attempt to recruit Massacre instead of tear him down. The KSWA Krazies have really taken to Massacre since his recent debut. Massacre's exit from the King of Millvale Battle Royal was the result of about seven Megastars teaming up to dispatch him. The Blood Beast has long been considered the strongest member of the KSWA locker room, so this should be quite the attraction in Sharpsburg. "The Enforcer" Shawn Blanchard takes on Shane Starr, once dubbed "The Future" by the VIPs. Starr was considered to be under Blanchard's wing at one time but a series of high-profile defeats got him kicked out of the stable. Since that time, Starr has excelled with his long-time friend Kris Kash. In addition, Starr has undergone a workout regimen that has him in the best condition of his career. This will be a great matchup between two accomplished Megastars who know each other very well. Add to the fact that Sharpsburg is home to Shane Starr, the action will be electric. The 2011 Joe Abby tournament winner, Mitch Napier will take on the talented and enigmatic Jonny Axx. Not much is known about the brawling newcomer to the KSWA, but he has caught the eye of Legion of the Apocalypse leader Mayor Mystery. Axx may be a good foil for Napier, who has been in the center of the race for the KSWA World Title. Napier has surprised many with his strength and technical skills within the squared circle. This could be a barn--or gym--burner. "Diamond Dave" Diamond takes on "The Drunken Luchadore" Joey Quervo in a rematch of a Millvale Days extravaganza. Quervo is always a Megastar who should not be underestimated and Diamond Dave is coming on strong in his debut. Both wrestlers have quick, fast-paced styles and intensity so this should be a good one. KSWA Road To FanFest: Guyasuta fundraiser is this Saturday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. Bell time is 7:30.
