October 8, 2011 by Trapper Tom, Ring Announcer/Wrestling Journalist One of the most eagerly-awaiting events on the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) calendar is Autumn Annihilation and the Halloween costume extravaganza. This special show also features the VIP's return shot at the Tag Team Championship and a Casket made by The Blood Beast. On Saturday, October 15, the Blood Beast will once again haul in a casket made in the bowls of Camp Blood. Last year, Justin Sane felt the wrath of the Beast and found himself locked in the Casket. This year, the Latin Assassin steps up to take on his former tag team partner. The casket itself is thick-wood tool of destruction. Justin Sane tried to end his Casket Match early last year with the Shock Therapy frog splash but he bounced off the structure when Blood Beast moved away. With its heavy door and reinforced sides, the casket itself is a weapon. This year is also different for the Blood Beast because he is an integral part of The Legion of the Apocalypse, Mayor Mystery's growing stable of ruthless Megastars. The association has made the Blood Beast more dangerous than ever, most recently going toe-to-toe with the 7-foot Jack Massacre in Sharpsburg. That match ended in a double count out. What role Mayor Mystery or the rest of the Legion is up to chance. The Latin Assassin continues to work hard since losing the KSWA World Title to Ali Kaida, and this might be a taste of retribution. Latin is already scheduled to be in a massive Fatal Four-Way match (along with KSWA Champ Ali Kaida, Shawn Blanchard and Mitch Napier are the others) for the KSWA championship at the December 3 FanFest so this match serves somewhat of a gauntlet until December. In addition, the rambunctious KSWA Tag Team Champions, Party Gras (Justin Sane and Lord Zoltan), defend their belts against the VIP's--"The Enforcer" Shawn Blanchard and "Dr. Devastation" Lou Martin, the team they defeated for the honor. The VIPs have worked extraordinarily well in recent months, most notably bullying the competition in single's campaigns. However, they have really pulled together in hopes of winning the KSWA Tag Team Championship a record-extending fourth time. What can be said of Party Gras, the teaming of Justin Sane and Lord Zoltan? The Krazies have bonded with the like few others, and their overwhelming response has electrified two the KSWA's most revered and accomplished Megastars. Crowds in Millvale and Sharpsburg really took to the duo in recent weeks. And Party Gras has defended the belts with extra gusto. But was their win over Blanchard and Martin a fluke? It's certainly possible that Shawn Blanchard could go into the FanFest Fatal Fourway as one-half of the KSWA World Tag Team Champions. Other matches are being signed by KSWA Owner Bobby O and Interim Kommissioner Gentleman Joe Perri. This is also the event in which all Krazies are encouraged to raid their Halloween costume closet and come as their favorite KSWA Megastar, superhero, ghost, goul or goblin of any sort. Again this year there will be a present given to the adult wearing the BEST costume and another for a child in the BEST costume. Autumn Annihilation is Saturday, October 15 at the Home of Professional Wrestling in Pittsburgh, the KSWA Arena. Bell time is 7:30 and tickets are $10 for $8 for kids. Card subject to change.
