So far, new Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) Heavyweight Champion “The Gavel” David Lawless, Esquire has successfully defended the Commonwealth’s most prestigious singles title against a rough-and-tumble arsenal of challengers. He faces a repeat challenger this Saturday night as the KSWA returns to the Kinloch Volunteer Fire Department.

It’s the second Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser of 2018 and Lawless’ first appearance at the KSWA standard bearer. He will take on Lucio Deveer once again. Deveer wasn’t quite able defeat Lawless Saturday afternoon in Millvale; however, the KSWA Championship Committee saw enough to give “The Enigma” another shot at the record books. It’s interesting to note that Lawless has been a fighting champion since upsetting Mitch Napier earlier this summer. He has successfully defended against Shane Starr, The Jester and Deveer. Will Lucio find a way to deliver the Death Valley Driver to Lawless, or will the champion be able to drop the Final Order on the Megastar from “The Other Side of Your Mind”?

Bubba the Bulldog, who was able to pin Mitch Napier and defend the Five Star Championship, will have his hands full with the biggest Megastar currently in action: T-Rantula. These two athletes will have an opportunity to battle it out in front of a packed house. Both veterans bring a lot to the table, and this will absolutely be a match to watch.

Another contest featuring big brawlers will be for the coveted Golden Triangle Championship. Champion Anthony Alexander will once again face off against “Big” Mike Malachi. Malachi recently returned to action after his usual summer schedule. The KSWA Championship Committee has inked this match as important for this imperative fundraiser. Malachi has been keen on returning to championship gold ever since losing the tag team championships with then-friend-then-foe-now friend Jack Massacre. Massacre, it should be noted, teamed up with Mayor Mystery and then vanished. Might something be in the cards for the stretch run to FanFest?

The KSWA tag team championships are on the line as titleholders Shane Starr and Kris Kash take on Team 12 Gauge. The team of the “Pride of West Virginia” Harley T. Morris and “The Scumbag” Harley T. Morris could make a claim as the best current tag team to not win championship titles. Might this be the time for them to upend the popular team of the Lost Boyz?

Yinza, the Pittsburgh Luchadore, will take on Shawn Blanchard in one-on-one competition. The VIPs have been going after Yinza individually, most recently with Lou Martin taking on the masked luchadore. Now, the former 6-time KSWA Heavyweight Champion takes his turn against the surging and popular Yinza. This looks to be Yinza’s most telling challenge yet.

The other VIPs—Lou Martin and Tommy Faime—will tag and take on Mitch Napier and BROhemoth. The unconventional team of Napier and BROhemoth take on one of the most fluid pairings in the KSWA—The VIPs. Something tells observers that this rivalry is far from over, and one that needs to be seen.

And last but certainly not least, for the second year in a row, there will be a Battle Royal to determine who qualifies for the Mario Ferraro Sr. Memorial Tournament in November. Last year, “Big Country” Matt McGraw took the honors. Who will establish their spot in the biggest professional wrestling tournament in November? Only time with tell.

The KSWA and Sam’s Club Pittsburgh Mills of Tarentum Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser will be held this Saturday at Kinloch Volunteer Fire Department, 915 New York Avenue in Lower Burrell, PA. Bell time is 6:00 p.m., doors open at 5:00 p.m. There will be concessions, Chinese Auction items and a 50/50 for this fundraiser. All tickets are $10 and card is subject to change.
