The 14th annual Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) FanFest/Toy Drive features five enormous championship matches, including the oldest title in the industry. In addition to the KSWA Heavyweight Championship, the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line for the first time in Pittsburgh in 28 years.

Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) Heavyweight Championship

The KSWA Heavyweight Championship, the most coveted title in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, once again heads the event. This year, KSWA Champion “The Gavel” David Lawless, Esquire defends in a perilous Triple Threat Match. Lawless will defend against Mitch Napier, the two-time former titleholder who held the championship for an impressive 617 days. In addition, KSWA Owner Bobby O has inserted longtime veteran Dennis Gregory into the match. The addition of Gregory is last-minute, as Lawless threatened legal action to get the former KSWA tag team champion on the FanFest card. Bobby O granted the wish, allowing Mayor Mystery’s client into the championship match. Bobby O also has put himself in the contest as the Special Guest Referee. National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Worlds Heavyweight Championship

The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Worlds Heavyweight Championship is on the line as the current champion, Nick Aldis makes his way to Pittsburgh with the prestigious “Ten Pounds of Gold.” Aldis will defend against KSWA mainstay and former 6-time champion Shawn Blanchard. And Blanchard is not coming alone. He has reached out once again to mentor, advisor and special event manager James J. Dillon. Dillon, who was on hand for Blanchard’s KSWA Heavyweight Championship win, is once again planning a winning strategy for “The Enforcer” to once again wear gold around his waist. In fact, Blanchard has already primed his passport to take over the bookings that the NWA Heavyweight Champion is scheduled to make throughout December and into the new year.

Golden Triangle Championship

The KSWA Golden Triangle Championship will be defended on the big stage when Anthony Alexander defends against International superstar Sam Adonis. While both 6’4”, 250-pound veterans have immense respect for one another, they both realize the importance of this match. Alexander has taken on all comers at the Golden Triangle Champion. Sam Adonis made his KSWA debut at Brawl Under the Bridge IV and made an impression on the KSWA Championship Committee. Adonis has said that he is already looking forward to holding the Golden Triangle Championship in his hometown; meanwhile, Alexander has not intension of losing the title he holds dear.

KSWA Tag Team Championship

The KSWA tag team championship is on the line as titleholders Kris Kash and Shane Starr prepare to defend against frequent foes Harley T. Morris and Zak Hunter. Team 12 Gauge has had a great deal of success in the KSWA; however, they have not been able to pull the state’s most sought-after tag team belts from one of its most accomplished duos. Hunter and Morris realize that this opportunity might not present itself again. That’s why they did damage to Starr’s shoulder after his Mario Ferraro Sr. Memorial Tournament match. How Starr’s shoulder rebounds has not yet been determined, so the challengers might have an advantage going in to Saturday’s showdown.

Five Star Championship

Bubba the Bulldog has made the most of his reign as the KSWA Five Star Champion and he intends to hold onto the strap after FanFest. He is in a title defense against one of the KSWA’s most popular young stars in BROhemoth. Mayor Mystery will be in Bubba’s corner for this benchmark defense. The “Bronomaly” has made headlines as his in-ring career has progressed in 2018, and he has traveled all over to hone his skills. Once a challenger for the KSWA Heavyweight Championship, BROhemoth takes the Five Star belt no less seriously. That’s fortunate, as Bubba the Bulldog continues to do whatever he can to advance the Five Star championship into the Pittsburgh psyche.

Steel City Strap Match

A different kind of belt is on the line Saturday as Yinza, the Pittsburgh Luchadore, will be locked into one side of a strap, as “The Face of Pittsburgh” Lou Martin will be locked into the other for a “Steel City Strap Match.” The two have battled each in different kinds of matches all year, and the Strap Match could be a way of ending this feud. In recent weeks, both competitors have released videos about the importance of this fight. In the final installment, Martin brazenly attacked Yinza with a strap during broad daylight. This will be a hard-hitting contest between two confident Megastars. 10-Man Tag Team Match

A special attraction Ten Megastar Tag Team Match has been set and reinforcements sent to strengthen the ring. The imposing veteran T-Rantula returns to action after a fall outside of competition sidelined the KSWA Hall of Famer for a few months. He’s back to helm a team that includes “Big Country” Matt McGraw, Justin Sane, the Jester and Sly Scarpone. That’s 1,286 pounds worth of humanity on one side of the ring. They take on the 7-foot-tall Jack Massacre, “Big” Mike Malachi, Jay Flash, “The King” Del Douglas and Lucio Deveer. That’s 1,336 pounds on the other side of the canvas.

Faime v. McSorley

KSWA Hall of Famer, “Mr. Tenacity” Tommy Faime takes on upstart Trick McSorley in one-on-one competition. Faime continues to successfully run with the VIPs, and he wants to knock down the youngest man on the roster, McSorley. This contest could be the start of winning ways for McSorley, or it could be a continuing march into championship competition for the always dangerous Faime.
