Mayor Mystery always has something up his tuxedo sleeve. The reigning “Manager of Champions” and Mayor of Parts Unknown has assembled a “Who’s Who” of Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) champions and will debut his Legion of “Distinguished Gentlemen” this Saturday. Mayor Mystery, the top manager in Independent Professional Wrestling, says that he has topped himself with a pedigree-laden team of sophisticated and seasoned athletes.
The team—KSWA Heavyweight Champion Dennis Gregory, Five Star Champion Bubba the Bulldog, the 7-foot-tall Jack Massacre and “Big” Mike Malachi—will face the quartet of T-Rantula, “Big Country” Matt McGraw, BROhemoth and the former Five-Star Champion Sly Scarpone. All eight of the heaviest of hitters will battle it out for Megastar supremacy.
The Golden Triangle Champion, Double-A Anthony Alexander, will defend against old foe Officer Dan Murphy. The two battled it out in May of last year at MJ’s Steel City Saloon, and Alexander had his hands full with the whistle-blaring law man. Few Champions have battled as many top-notch adversaries as Alexander and he faces another with the always-improving giant from Suffolk, Virginia.
The brand new KSWA World Tag Team Champions, Shawn Blanchard and Tommy Faime, will take on the former champions Kris Kash and Shane Starr. The explosive conclusion to the tag team match on February 16 lead to new title holders, but the Lost Boyz are not ready to allow the VIPs the stomp into a successful sovereignty.
Feuds continue when Zak Hunter takes on Harley T. Morris one-on-one and Yinza and “The Face of Pittsburgh” Lou Martin go after one another.
A Triple Threat Match between Mitch Napier, Lucio Deveer and Trick McSorley will feature strength, technique and versatility.
In addition, a tag team match with Royal Implications sees “The King” Del Douglas team with “The Rev” Ron Hunt against The Jester and Justin Sane. The Rev showed what he can do in his Golden Triangle attempt against Double-A, and now he has an opportunity to team with one of the KSWA’s most tested Megastars in Douglas. Their match should be interesting with the always unpredictable Justin Sane and the incredible fan favorite, The Jester.
