The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) returns to action on Saturday, June 22 with one of the wildest Heavyweight Championship opportunities in Pittsburgh professional wrestling history. In fact, all of the matches recently announced qualify as “must see.”

The Wild Man of West Virginia, The 400-pound Beast Man takes on reigning KSWA Heavyweight Champion Dennis Gregory. Gregory, who has taken on all challengers with the intensity and confidence of anyone in the sport’s annuals, faces the most unpredictable wrestler the industry has seen in years. The Stone Age Savage has held regional championships but this is his first time challenging for the Keystone of the Keystone State. Gregory, who will be tutored by the Manager of Champions Mayor Mystery, is ready for any obstacle.

The KSWA Championship Committee did not stop with the Main Event in releasing one of the most intriguing cards of the year. Golden Triangle Champion Double-A Anthony Alexander faces the 5-Star Champion Bubba the Bulldog in one-on-one competition. This contest will assuredly work as a Match of the Year candidate between the three-time Golden Triangle Champion and two-five 5-Star Champion. Both athletes are at the top of their competitive game, with Alexander’s power and Bubba’s quickness highlighting an important match. Two long-time veterans of the wrestling scene will battle it out for the city’s top prize.

And even though Bubba the Bulldog’s 5-Star championship will not be on the line on the 22nd, Megastars are lining up for an opportunity at the prestigious belt. In a Fatal Four-Way, Justin Sane, Officer Dan Murphy, former 5-Star Champion Sly Scarpone and former KSWA Heavyweight Champion "The Gavel" David Lawless will compete to see who gets an opportunity at the 5-Star. Sane is a multi-time champion in the KSWA, Scarpone briefly held the 5-Star title earlier this year, both winning and losing it in shocking fashion, Lawless is looking to return to championship form and his tag team partner Murphy hopes for his first taste of KSWA gold. The winner of this match will have earned that opportunity.

The brand new KSWA Tag Team Champions, Mitch Napier and BROhemoth can’t rest of their laurels because they are immediately on the defensive against the impressive team of "The King" Del Douglas & "The Rev" Ron Hunt. The Best BROs Around answered a challenge by the VIPs and won the titles, and now the duo of Douglas and Hunt look to shock the Krazies themselves by capturing tag team accolades. These two teams have never faced each other before, which should lead to an interesting match.

All three VIPs—Shawn Blanchard, Lou Martin and Tommy Faime—team up to take on the familiar trio of Yinza, along with Shane Starr and Kris Kash. The story between these six Megastars has been expressed countless times over the years; however, with each outing something new is revealed. All six men can entertain the masses and this will be on exception.

The Biggest War in the KSWA continues at Spirit when Hall of Famer T-Rantula goes one-on-one with Jack Massacre. These two are the largest competitors Pittsburgh has seen in decades, and T-Rantula has never hit harder than he does today. The 7-foot-tall Jack Massacre has picked up his game considerably since his rivalry with T-Rantula has worn on. This “next chapter” of their titanic tale may or may not require a trip to “Nacho City.”

The West Virginia Hammer Harley T. Morris, who has taken on former tag team partner Zak Hunter and others in recent months, is challenged by "Big Country" Matt McGraw in single’s competition. Morris, who has grown in experience, technique and strength since his KSWA debut in February, 2015, will wrangle with the raw-boned, pure power of the Imperial Stomper Matt McGraw. While Morris has been able to tangle with technicians like Mitch Napier, McGraw can match strength with anyone in the Commonwealth. Both men will be looking to impress the KSWA Championship Committee on the 22nd.
