Last week, the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) World Heavyweight Champion Dennis Gregory super kicked Anthony Alexander after Double A engaged in a sneak attack on him. Then, Alexander challenged Gregory for the most coveted title in the Commonwealth, the KSWA Heavyweight Championship at FanFest. If Gregory still holds onto the gold, a fight for the most important title in Independent Wrestling would highlight the annual spectacular.

Until then, the two will face off in a Six-Man Elimination Match. Gregory will team up with the formidable duo of the KSWA Tag Team Champions—Lou Martin and Shawn Blanchard—against the Best Bros Around and Alexander. The VIPs have battled against Mitch Napier and BROhemoth, and swapped the KSWA tag titles a time or two. Now all six men will face off in this unique match. A six-man elimination match doesn’t happen often in the KSWA, so fans will want a piece of this.

The American Legion Langley Post 496 is located in the Sheraden neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh. What would be a better place outside of Lawrenceville to defend the city’s top prize? Bubba the Bulldog will face an interesting foe in Justin Sane. Sane, who has been a multi-time champion, had most recently defined his career in tag team contests. Now refined, returned and re-energized, Justin Sane finds himself on the precipice of Golden Triangle Championship gold. And when re-energized is discussed, Sane will have to unseat the unpredictable Bubba the Bulldog. Bubba has been at the top of his competitive game and Sane is ready to meet him at the top.

Last Saturday, the KSWA 5-Star Champion Sly Scarpone had the inevitable task of defending against not one but two opponents. The KSWA Championship Committee was so impressed that they ordered another Triple Threat match. Scarpone will once again take on Zak Hunter, but this time the “Enigma” Lucio Deveer joins the fray. Hunter can take what he learned from last week and use that knowledge, while Deveer will get a fresh look here. Both opponents have championship mettle, but can they match up with the Action Hero that is Sly Scarpone?

There will be nearly 800-pound of massive Megastars when the 7-foot-tall Jack Massacre locks horns with the Stone Age Savage, The Beastman. This year in particular, Massacre has turned up the competition and has proven to be the physical force everyone always thought he would be. Now he has the biggest challenge of the calendar when he goes one-on-one with Beastman. Word is that the ring will be re-enforced and the ropes will need to be double checked.

In recent outings, Harley T. Morris has gone from the always-tough “West Virginia Hammer” to the still-out tough “Professional.” The change has worked well so far for the former 5-Star champion. While out of the major champions contention, Morris continues to find his way in the KSWA locker room. Sunday he will face off against one of the Megastars with a stiffer punch in “Big Country” Matt McGraw. While McGraw has been teaming with T-Rantula quite a bit, he is still able to tangle with the best. This match promises to be one not for the faint of heart.

The KSWA Krazies have taken to Yinza, the Pittsburgh Luchadore ever since the masked hero stepped onto the scene. What people are now realizing is that Yinza has the heart of Pittsburgh running through his veins and they share the same “don’t quit” attitude. The master of the Yinza to Belly suplex will face off against one of the KSWA’s most veteran villains in "The King" Del Douglas. Douglas has taken on the biggest and the best in recent months and continues to tick like an expensive watch. What happens when two persistent Megastars face off? There’s only one way to find out.

KSWA Wrestling returns to Sheraden and the American Legion Langley Post 496, 2863 Chartiers Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15204 for a Matinee event on Sunday, October 20 at 2:00 p.m. All tickets are $10. Please Call 412-726-1762 for any event information. Card is subject to change.
