Del Douglas expects to reclaim the Mario Ferraro Sr. Memorial Tournament this Saturday in Sharpsburg. Douglas, who won the sixth annual fundraiser for the Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Department, is in the first-round against frequent foe “Double-A” Anthony Alexander. In the other semi-final contest is Sharpsburg’s own Shane Starr against the Golden Triangle Champion Bubba the Bulldog.

The winners of the semi-finals will face off in the finals Saturday Night.

Douglas has battled for the Ferraro Memorial Tournament often, but didn’t win until at last year’s event when he defeated hometown hero Shane Starr. If all goes right for the “King of the World,” he could once again battle Starr in the Main Event. Or, it is possible that Alexander will wrestle against Bubba, the man who defeated the Prime-Time Player for the Golden Triangle Championship. Then again, it could be Alexander versus Starr in the trophy-defining match.

Business has never been better for the KSWA World Tag Team Champions, the VIPs—Shawn Blanchard and Lou Martin—and this time around they defend the most coveted tag team titles in the Commonwealth when they meet Yinza and Joey Quervo. The masked wrestlers, who not long ago faced off in a one-on-one competition—have been linked to challenge the 6-time champions. Quervo is a former tag team champion and Yinza continues to perform well in his still-short career.

“The Professional” Harley T. Morris, straight from the Business District in West Virginia, takes on his longest-tenured rival in Justin Sane. The rivalry between Sane and Morris has been one of the most intense in Pittsburgh’s recent times, and no one has had a distinct advantage. The Megastars have battled each other many times and pretty know what the other is going to do next; however, that doesn’t mean they don’t have secrets planned. The match will be between two determined athletes.

The always-impressive duo of “Big Country” Matt McGraw and T-Rantula look to take on the only regular team on the roster that is larger in “The 7-foot tall” Jack Massacre & Mike Malachi. T-Rantula has assisted McGraw in the ring and Massacre has only gotten more determined in the squared circle. Both teams have battled each other in tag matches as well as in one-on-one competition, so they all know each other inside and out. But could T take another competitor (even McGraw once again by mistake) to Nacho City? One can only find out this Saturday.

Mitch Napier and BROhemoth, once again on the KSWA tag team championship trail, will have to get by the formidable pairing of Zak Hunter and “The Enigma” Lucio Deveer. With FanFest season just a few events away, the KSWA Championship Committee is looking for challengers for the KSWA tag team championship. Mitch and BRO have had rematches against the VIPs, while Hunter and Deveer are eagerly looking for FanFest spots. As a result, the KSWA Championship Committee will have a keen eye on this showdown.
