The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) returns to action Saturday night, one week after setting Homestead and the Homestead Grays Bridge on its side.

Nearly 400 fans capped off a fantastic Homestead Community Day by joining the KSWA for Brawl Under The Bridge II. There, Harley T. Morris became the 5-Star Champion and Shane Starr tossed Lou Martin into an emergency vehicle to become the brand new Golden Triangle Champion.

Now, the KSWA returns for Beechview Brawl II. This free event is courtesy of businesses in the Beechview neighborhood. One of the highlights of the day will be an over-the-top battle royal in which the winner will be rewarded with $1,000. When money is on the line, friendships can tear apart and enemies could become momentary friends.

The KSWA World Championship will be on the line when current titleholder Kris Kash defends against one-half of the KSWA tag team champions: Bobby Badfingers. Mayor Mystery has somehow pulled favors and political strings to get an opportunity for more gold in his stable. Badfingers, who has never been one of the dozen Megastars to hold the most prestigious Single’s Title in the Commonwealth, but he has long been poised for the break. Kash, who had a hard-fought battle with former Champion Shawn Blanchard just last Saturday, faces a similar physical foe in Badfingers. Once again out-sized, Kash will look to using his speed to avoid the brawn of Badfingers.

The brand new 5-Star Champion, Harley T. Morris, will immediately defend the belt against a former 5-Star Champion in The Jester. The two Megastars are no stranger to one another, so this should be an interesting match. The Jester was not in Homestead, but the KSWA Championship Committee put him in an admirable position of getting a chance at the belt. Morris, who along with manager David Marbell seemed overjoyed to finally win KSWA gold. The Jester, who has held tag team and 5-Star gold in the Commonwealth’s premier wrestling organization, would like to once again have his name in the record books. This is his chance to regain championship gold in Pittsburgh, where it means the most.

T-Rantula, fresh off of his victory over Del Douglas on Saturday, takes on the now-former Golden Triangle Champion, “The Face of Pittsburgh,” “Dr. Devastation,” Lou Martin. Martin and new Golden Triangle Champion Shane Starr beat each other girder to girder, footing to footing. The match instantly became a KSWA classic. But Saturday, Martin will take on the KSWA Hall of Famer, and nearly 7 foot tall legend T-Rantula. T-Rantula had a hard-hitting match with Douglas, with the “King” getting most of the punishment. It will be interesting to see what happens come Saturday in Beechview.

Meanwhile, Douglas will be looking to continue his win streak against the legendary Lord Zoltan. The two have had big matches over the past year, and this week’s promises to be no exception.

In one of the most interesting match ups of the card is former 5-Star Champion Mitch Napier taking on former 6-time KSWA Champion Shawn Blanchard.

And a true 7-footer, Jack Massacre, will take on a returning J-Ru.

Beechview Brawl is this Saturday, July 30, at the Beechview Farmers Market Parking Lot along Broadway and Beechview Avenues, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. There is a special bell time of 4 p.m. The event is free to all. Card is subject to change. For more information, call 412-726-1762.
