The Keystone State Wrestling Alliance, Pittsburgh’s official and only professional wrestling organization, is set to embark of its own “KSWA: September To Remember.” The KSWA will host a record five events in the month. (In June and July, 2015 the organization also hosted events for five Saturdays in a row with 6 events in five weeks.)

Never before has the KSWA had a September schedule like this year’s. The month of action starts on Saturday, September 3 in the Beechview neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh. Earlier this summer the regularly-scheduled event was rained out, and Saturday, September 3 was available. Beechview Brawl II will take place at 4:00pm Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Beechview Farmers Market Parking Lot on Beechview & Broadway Avenues, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. It’s already been announced that longtime foes, Shawn Blanchard and The Latin Assassin will battle it out for Beechview supremacy. In recent year, The Latin Assassin has literally set up a storefront—a barber shop—and has integrated himself into the community. The unofficial “Mayor of Beechview,” The Latin Assassin got involved in Shawn Blanchard’s match during last year’s “Brawl.” Since then, the intensity has picked up between the two. Other matches are bound to be announced leading up to that event.

Then, the KSWA returns to its home, the Teamster Temple, 4701 Butler Street in Lawrenceville, on Saturday, September 10. The KSWA Championship Committee has allowed rumors to leak that some big matches will be scheduled for that date. The KSWA hasn’t been back to its “home” since June 18. Between Teamster dates, 85 days would have transpired. The June date featured Kaida winning the 5-Star Championship from Mitch Napier, as well as fellow challenger Harley T. Morris. Since that time, Kaida relinquished the title due to injury and Morris won it thanks for a qualifying match in Homestead.

And in less than a week, the KSWA will make its triumphant return to Millvale as part of the 23rd annual Millvale Days. The KSWA will return on Friday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 17 at 3:00 p.m. That will be 11 years ago to the day in which the KSWA debuted in the borough across the river from Lawrenceville. Once again the KSWA will set the ring up near Attic Records and Yetter’s Candies along Grant Street in the heart of Millvale.

In what has become a favorite among the Megastars, the KSWA pulls into St. Raphael Elementary School in the Morningside neighborhood within the city of Pittsburgh on Saturday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. The Catholic School fundraiser, located at 1154 Chislett Street, Pittsburgh 15206, is a popular destination as the crowd is always appreciative of the action. And as a fundraiser, it is for a great cause.

While the St. Raphael event technically closes out September, the KSWA’s “Road to FanFest” charges on harder than ever.

The KSWA returns for a second year of Sam’s Club for Children’s Miracle Network Fundraiser on Saturday, October 1, 2016. This year the event will be held at the Knead Community Café, 1011 Barnes Street, New Kensington, PA 15068. This is a return event for the KSWA as the network with Children’s Miracle Network and Sam’s Club continues to build.

In addition to that, the KSWA debuts at Fam Con 2016, Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The organization will host an event at The River Church, 2365 Wharrey Drive, Sewickley PA 15143. According to organizers, Fam Con 2016 is “a Family Friendly Pop Culture Extravaganza. Get more specific! Food Trucks, Live Bands, Pro Wrestling and much more!

The KSWA then returns back home to the Teamster Temple on Saturday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. and then it was just recently announced that the KSWA will return to the Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, November 12 at the fire hall. This will once again be the site for the Mario Ferraro Sr. Memorial Tournament.

Then, FanFest/Toy Drive 2016 caps off an exciting and memorable KSWA calendar on Saturday, December 3, once again at the Teamster Temple.
