Special Attraction Has Its Biggest Opportunities Yet, Hunt To Face Gregory, The VIPs Collide At Motorycles & Clotheslines

Earlier this year, the dynamic team of “The Engima” Lucio Deveer and “The Sideshow Psycho” Malaki Gage traded in any good will they had with the Krazies of the Keystone State Wrestling Alliance (KSWA) and have shown and more violent and devious side. In the eyes of KSWA Owner Bobby O and the KSWA Championship Committee, the move seems to have worked.
“The Enigma” Lucio Deveer, who has been one of the most unorthodox characters in the Commonwealth’s premier professional wrestling promotion, gets a chance at its most prestigious title. Anthony Alexander, the current and reigning 2-time KSWA Heavyweight Champion, defends the title after a few weeks off and a tag team match. No Heavyweight Champion anywhere has actively defended his title more than Alexander, and this matchup promises to be a difficult task. Deveer is one of the most intense wrestlers in the Commonwealth, and his skill set will test the durable Double-A. This match will be a highlight on any card.
The Golden Triangle Champion, Shane Starr, will take on Deveer’s protégé “The Sideshow Psycho” Malaki Gage for the city of Pittsburgh’s top prize. Gage has been very impressive in his stint with the KSWA, and this is the most important opportunity of his career. Starr has been just as impressive and hard-working as Alexander in defending his vaunted trophy. In a summer and early fall of action, Starr has defended against the best of the best, and Gage’s participation is no different. This match will be a physical contest between two Megastars looking to impress as FanFest season marches onward.
For months, the feud between the current KSWA Five Star Title Match Champion J-Ru and “The Regent” Joshua Kavod was been as interesting as any on any event. The two men know each other inside and out, and can anticipate the other’s next move. Earlier this summer, J-Ru appeared to get away with a “fast one” by pretending to hit Kavod with a steel chair, and faking his own knock out. Kavod hasn’t forgotten that move and the two continue to battle over the belt.
The Commonwealth’s most important tag team championships are once again defended by arguably the most significant tag team champions in the Keystone State. The Renegades—Yinza and Matt McGraw—take on the imposing BROhemoth and “King” Del Douglas. Yinza and McGraw trained together in the KSWA system and teamed together from the very start of their KSWA careers. They might soon be compared to other home-grown KSWA tag team champions like The Lost Boyz, but they will need to remain on this current trajectory. They face a team that one the outside may look mismatched; however, with “King” Del Douglas, no team is secondary. BROhemoth has tagged with many Megastars since his debut, including “Best Bro Around” Mitch Napier, but no one compares to the incomparable King. While Douglas may not be the best technical wrestler around, he has shown time and time again that he is tough, resilient, and ready to make any match memorable. Buckle up for this one.
“The Face of Pittsburgh” Lou Martin has waited a very long time to get his mitts on his former friend, former tag team partner and former VIP anchor Shawn Blanchard. Blanchard returned from nearly 600 days away from the squared circle to take on Golden Triangle Champion Shane Starr last weekend. Now, the “O.G. of the VIPs” faces an even more intimate foe in Martin. The former VIPs ruled the KSWA roost together, becoming (combined) 8-time KSWA Heavyweight Champions and 6-time tag team champions. They also held many other trophies while watching each other’s back. This contest will not be one of technical finesse, but of frustration and anger.
At “Brawl Under The Bridge” this past July, “The Rev" Ron Hunt returned to the KSWA after an extended absence. He and Super Hentai teamed against Bubba the Bulldog and Dennis Gregory. At the conclusion of that match, Hentai had swerved against Hunt and rejoined his long-time friend. Although there is no tag team match here, Hunt has the opportunity for revenge of sorts, against Gregory. Both of these crafty veterans promise to “bring it” this Saturday afternoon.
Also in action will be The Ram Anthony Drake, Harley T Morris, Officer Dan Murphy and more!
“Motorcycles and Clotheslines” has a special 2 p.m. matinee start. Front row tickets are only $20 and general admission are $15. Doors open at 1 p.m., there will be food, drink, vendors for adults, kids and the entire family.
